The Story Behind Our Name

Lower Class Angels was created to honor the memory of loved ones who left this world too soon. The name was mainly inspired by my friend Lizmaris, who passed away when I was 15. Liz was one of the kindest and caring people I knew… basically she had qualities that felt angelic.

Liz, along with my other friends who passed away young, never really had the chance to make a name for themselves. Could you imagine if your life came to an abrupt pause at the age of 15? How many things would you have missed out on? How many people would you have not met? I say all of this to say, only 2 of them had the opportunity to graduate high school, and even then, they both passed away the year following their graduation.

It’s still crazy to me how their lives ended before they got to begin, and back then I felt like society often judged some of them for what they had went through while they were living, or even the way they may have lost their life which could make people see them as “less”. But to me, they were angels— they were people with pure hearts, and untapped potential that their loved ones never got to see them reach.

As a Christian man, I truly believe I will see my friends again one day. That belief is deeply tied to the meaning of Lower Class Angels. This brand is more than jewelry—it’s a tribute to those who are gone but never forgotten and a reminder that no matter where you come from or what you have, there’s beauty, strength, and worth within us all.
